This book has undergone significant changes, so once we send you the updated version of this book you will no longer be able to view any highlights, bookmarks, and notes that have been made in your current version and your furthest reading location will be lost. === That “mykupdate” link just seemed to take me to the regular Manage Your Kindle page.I had to search to find the book (I’m sure I got it as a freebie at some point).They have to be given the option, because the new version will wipe out notes they’ve made in the old one.I’ve suggested before that this is something that could be handled through the page. When I asked Amazon to e-mail my prior buyers (I like that rhyme) know that an updated version is available, I got this back (in part): === Hello, We received your request to provide updated content to customers who purchased your book.The more details that you provide, the better we will be able to accurately categorize and message your update for end customers.
